Here’s what we have lined up for you this week:
-Lettuce or Mesclun
We had our last day at the market on Sunday. We said goodbye to our regulars, thanked them for their business this year and tried to recruit more members for 2019!
We are very excited to be finishing off the season within the next couple weeks. We are definitely tired and looking forward to having much more balanced work-life schedules. The cold weather and the rain make us sleepy, and perhaps the last 21-ish weeks of farming has finally caught up with Andrew. (It caught up with Sibella around the 10th week in).
We still have a lot of food growing in the field, which is excellent because we still expect to provide good sized veggie shares to everyone for the last two deliveries, and will be able to sell a bit more through restaurants. If anyone would like to purchase extra produce, please let us know, and if it’s available we can add it to your share.
Andrew has been looking for office work for this fall, so we can hopefully commute in together, and share a similar schedule. This way we will be able to make some money that we weren’t able to during the farm season.
We hope you all have a wonderful week!
Andrew and Sibella
